Veganuary is here and it’s bigger than ever. Each year, the organization behind the movement encourages individuals to adopt a vegan lifestyle for the month of January (and beyond). To support this challenge, Veganuary collaborates with restaurants, retailers, and brands nationwide to create exclusive specials and products. This year, working closely with its partners, Veganuary has curated an exciting lineup of offerings that are sure to tantalize taste buds.
Helping more people go vegan
Veganuary often launches campaigns to accompany its launch. In 2024, for example, it urged everyone to “Vote for Veggies” in a video voiced by Ryan Eggold of New Amsterdam and The Blacklist. The video encouraged people to choose vegetables as a means to address environmental concerns, improve health, reduce food costs, protect animals, and promote healthier ecosystems.
“More and more people worldwide are choosing to try vegan—many also stay vegan long-term, for animals, the planet, and their health,” Sandra Hungate, US Director at Veganuary, said in a statement.
Ahead of its 2025 launch, Veganuary launched another campaign called “Weird.” The campaign, which featured images like a pig with a sausage for a body and a chicken covered in a crispy coating, aimed to highlight just how strange the present day food industry is.
“Most of us see the food we grew up with as ‘normal’ but when we stop to ponder the practices behind many familiar foods, they start to look a little bit weird,” said Toni Vernelli, Veganuary’s International Head of Policy and Communications, in a statement.
Supporting this trend, a recent YouGov study on behalf of Veganuary reveals that 71 percent of all US adults aspired to consume more vegetables in 2024. And for 2025, several major food reports, including those from Whole Foods Market, Kroger, and Bidfood, have predicted that plants will be a big trend this year.
To help the public achieve their goals of eating more plants, Veganuary is stepping up to assist individuals in eating more plant-based foods by providing registered participants with daily plant-based recipes, nutrition guides, a budget meal plan, and exclusive discounts.

The movement also fosters a sense of community through its podcast, YouTube series, and Facebook groups. Adding a new dimension to its offerings, Veganuary also launched its inaugural cookbook in 2023. Featuring 100 delicious vegan recipes, the cookbook is available for order.
