Vegan beauty brand Milk Makeup recently launched Firewerk, a limited-edition, Fourth of July set of beauty products. The set ($30) includes three holiday-appropriate products: a full-sized pigmented, demi-matte lipstick in O.G. Red; Tattoo Stamp (a long-lasting temporary tattoo) in Star; and a Mini Glitter Stick, a glitter-infused highlighter made with hydrating oils. Milk Makeup also offers innovative Kush mascara and brow gel—which is formulated with marijuana component cannabidiol (CBD) that the brand uses as a binder in lieu of beeswax. In March, Milk Makeup committed to removing all animal products from its formulations to become a fully vegan company, a move that the brand’s co-founder Zanna Roberts Rassi called a “no-brainer” in a recent interview with media outlet Glossy.
