There’s always an inevitable sense of excitement that comes with the relaunching of Trader Joe’s’ seasonal products. This winter, Trader Joe’s is bringing back our favorites (hello, Candy Cane Joe-Joe’s) and introducing a plethora of new seasonal items that have us filling our baskets to the brim. Next time you’re strolling through the aisles of this tiki-themed market, stock up on these holiday vegan items before they’re gone.

Non-dairy Mint & Chip Bon Bons
From its birthday cake-flavored almond milk ice cream to these new coconut milk-based bon bons, Trader Joe’s has stepped up its vegan ice cream game. The chocolate-to-ice-cream ratio is higher than in traditional mint chip ice cream thanks to the chocolate coating. We’re definitely not complaining about that!

Sugar Plum Beverage
Swap out basic sparkling apple cider for this festive non-alcoholic beverage. Made with a blend of plum and white grape juice, this new carbonated drink is delicious on its own or stirred into a Christmas cocktail or mocktail.

Almond Nog
The fan favorite has returned! We’ve been drinking this throughout the holiday season … occasionally with a splash of bourbon. Nog-averse? Try it in your coffee—it makes for a fabulous creamer.

Single Origin Chocolate Passport
Even though travel is limited due to the pandemic, it’s still possible to taste the finest chocolates from Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Ghana, the Dominican Republic, Papua New Guinea, São Tomé, and Tanzania with this lovely chocolate passport. All eight of the chocolates differ in their level of cacao—ranging from 60 to 73 percent—and feature unique tasting notes. Take your time savoring each piece and test yourself to see if you can pick out the delicious differences in each bar.

Crispy Vegetable Pouches
Frankly speaking, passed hors d’oeuvres are the best thing about most holiday parties. This year, we’ve been forced to skip the mingling and small talk, but we can still enjoy those delectable bites at home with this standout vegan TJ’s product. These crunchy bundles of flavor are packed with a blend of herb-seasoned vegetables and come in packs of 12. Budget for two servings per box—they go quick!

Hot Chocolate Sticks
The holiday season isn’t complete without a cup of hot chocolate, so Trader Joe’s created an alluring option for non-dairy connoisseurs. The 46 percent dark cocoa stick produces a richer chocolate flavor than the run-of-the-mill cocoa mix and pairs perfectly with Trader Joe’s accidentally vegan marshmallows. Pro tip: you have to stir aggressively and for about two minutes to completely dissolve the chocolate stick, but this extra bit of effort is worth it.

Hold the Corn! Appetizer
This might be our new favorite Trader Joe’s finger food. Somehow, the company has discovered a way to stuff the flavors of the holidays inside a portable mini cone. Each adorable appetizer is filled with seasoned sweet corn, water chestnuts, green onions, and wood ear mushrooms. They’re one of the few highlights that have come out of 2020.

Vegan gingerbread loaf
As cute as they are, gingerbread cookies are generally lackluster when it comes to taste and texture. The warming spices of this traditional cookie are better translated into a sweet bread, and Trader Joe’s has nailed it with this moist gingerbread spice loaf (though, let’s be honest, it’s really a cake). Serve warm with a slathering of vegan butter and a steaming cup of coffee or tea by your side.
