Vegan beauty brand Lime Crime launched four new new cat-themed lipstick pairings (or “Kitty Bundles”) this month. The company will donate 20 percent of proceeds from the new lip line to Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats—a Los Angeles-based rescue organization dedicated to rehabilitating feral cats and finding them permanent homes. The Kitty Bundles are available in four varieties including Pounce (two bold unicorn lipsticks), Purr (a metallic matte liquid lipstick duo), Bite (a signature liquid lipstick duo), and Meow (two subtle glittery shades). The unveiling of this new lipstick follows Lime Crime’s introduction just last month of vegan unicorn hair dye. Lime Crime is amongst a growing number of cruelty-free companies creating innovative vegan cosmetics—such as FCTRY, with their recent release of Unicorn Snot, and Lisa Frank’s partnership with Glamour Dolls as part of their upcoming ‘90s collection.
