Hemp milk is a mild, nutty-flavored, and delicious beverage loaded with high-quality digestible protein—and it’s so easy to make.

What you need:

3 cups filtered water
1 cup hulled hemp seeds
1 tablespoon maple syrup or 1 pitted Medjool date
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

What you do:

  1. Into a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth and frothy. For a silky milk consistency, strain mixture through a nut-milk bag or a few layers of cheesecloth held over a bowl or milk container. Squeeze gently to get all the liquid out.
  2. Store milk in a Mason jar in a refrigerator for up to 5 days. The milk might separate while sitting, so be sure to give the jar a shake before using.
